Tea Machineries - Double Action Open Press Roller

General Usage
Double Action Press Roller Machine is used for rolling and cutting the withered
tea leaves coming from the Open Top Roller to get smoother crushed tea. The
roller table rotates while the cylinder that carries the tealeaves rotates the
other way. This process is known as “Double Action Press Roller”.
Technical Data and Construction
- Cylinder part is made of Stainless Steel thickness 2.5 mm, strengthen with stainless steel flat bars with thickness 8 mm on the upper and lower parts.
- Cylinder frame is made of Cast Iron, rotated by 3 units of big and strong crankshafts.
- Roller table is made of Cast Iron
- The edge of the table is made higher, this is to avoid the overflow of the tealeaves, that is not well withered, in the grinding process. The height of the table edge is 8 cm.
- The table surface is lined with Stainless steel plate of thickness 1.5 mm and made slanted inward, so that the tealeaves are curled more.
- The table equipped with 8 units of crescent-shaped “Batten” gunmetal to increase the percentage of tea powder obtained.
- The discharging door is placed in the center of the table; on top of it, “Retie Cone” is installed. The Retie Cone is made of gunmetal, this is to ensure the better quality of the tealeaves in the cylinder; having rolled and cut evenly.
- The door opening system uses sliding shaft concept is placed in the front part of the machine for easy operation.
- A pair of gear “Worm Wheel” is installed with the main crankshaft and assembled on the oiled gearbox.
- 3-roller support made of cast iron assembled on a cast iron frame.
Press Unit
- Using Pneumatic cylinder Diameter 125 mm with stroke 600 mm.
- The pressing disc is made of mild steel lined with stainless steel thickness 1.5 mm installed and guided by 4 guiding rails on the roller table.
- The press support is made of Cast Iron I-profile supported on two steel poles Ø 83 mm.
- The press control is depending on the pressure regulator in the pneumatic control panel.
