Tea Machineries - Fermenting Unit

General
This unit is used for the fermentation process. It process the tea leaves
that comes out of the CTC machines. The best quality of the fermentation
can be obtained by having a well-controlled air temperature and air humidity
within the tolerable fermenting process temperature.

Technical Data
Feeding Conveyor
It consists of :
- Frame work : is made from 4 mm thick steel plate and angle bars L.50.50.5.
- Main roll : is made from steel plate Sch. 40 Ø 8” and As. steel 40 Ø 2”
- Spreader : is made from 8 mm thick plate, 2 mm thick SUS plate, As. steel 40 Ø 1 ¾”, and pillow block UCF 207.
- Driving power is a 1 Hp, 1450 rpm, motor coupled to a gear box of the type SKBS 70 with ratio 1 : 20.
- Belt conveyor is Rubber Belt. It has the length of 4,000 mm and width of 1,800 mm.
Fermenting Machine
It consists of :
- Front and rear frame works are made from 6 mm thick steel plate, channel UNP-100, and flat bars 6 mm x 50 mm.
- Middle frame work is made from channel UNP 100 and black pipe Ø 1 ¼ ”.
- The Chain Rails are made from angle bars L.70.70.7.
- Trays are made from SUS 304 plate 0.8 mm thick and water pipe Ø 1”, 150 mm width x 1,860 mm length, diameter hole Ø 3 mm.
- Trays chains : type 6,000 lbs and brand of Renold or equivalent.
- Sprocket axis : is made from As St plate 60 Ø 3”.
- Sprocket : is made from steel plate and As St plate 60 Ø 5”.
- Brush cleaner : is made from Aluminum pipe and is assembled with nylon string and is driven by a 0.25 Hp gear-motor.
- The driving unit is a variable speed 7.5 Hp, 1,450 rpm electro-motor with gear boxes, TKB 155 or equivalent.
Plenum Chamber
It consists of :
- The housing of the blowers are made from 1.5 mm thick SUS 304 stainless steel . Fermenting cooling unit consists of 10 sets of blowers, each with 0.25 Hp variable speed motor.
- 1 Panel Unit : to drive 1 fermenting unit.
