General
It is used to wither fresh tealeaves and to condition them before entering the
crushing process. The unit consists of withering chamber, axial flow fan, and
automatic temperature control system.

The unit consists of:
Axial Flow Fan with diameter 48” made of carbon steel with adjustable
Cast Aluminum fan blades.

Transition Duct connecting the fan to the withering chamber which is equipped
with damper. The damper is used to adjust the quantity of air coming into
withering chamber.
Withering Trough Chamber is made of galvanized. It is basically a square chamber
made of carbon steel plates with profile steel frames with air transfer ducts.
Tealeaves are put on the perforated polyethylene plates above the air ducts.

The bottom part of the withering trough is made of concrete (supplied by owner).
