General / Usage
This dryer machine is used for drying the fermented tealeaves until the water
content of them reaches 2.5 3.5 %. Basically, the machine performance is the
same as Apron Conveyor performance. The machine is a double level conveyor
dryer unit assembled in stack with low pressurized hot air flown from the below.
This dryer is known as Two Stage Dryer. The effective width of the machine is
6 feet (1830 mm).
Technical Data / Construction
- The trays is made from perforated steel plate with thickness 1.5 mm, with Zinc Electroplating.
- The trays are stiffened by frames and flat bars that it is not easily twisted.
- Sprocket is made of machined cast iron.
- The tray chain is imported chains, with the conveyor center-to-center distant is 4.68
- The Variable Speed Reducer is used for controlling the speed of the upper and lower trays, which has speed ratio of 1 : 1.35.
- Temperature Monitor.
- Inlet thermometer is using dial type with dimension of the capillary pipe is Ψ 6.
- The model of outlet thermometer that used is umbrella type with diameter 6.
